Project Finance Associate (3-6 Years) – Renewable Energy

Am Law 50 Firm | Los Angeles or New York | $240K-$370K

We are seeking an experienced Project Finance Associate (3-6 Years) to join our client’s renowned Energy Practice in either Los Angeles or New York. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-profile renewable energy project financings and advise global industry leaders on groundbreaking transactions in the energy transition space.

The Opportunity

This role offers an exciting chance to join a market-leading team that advises sponsors, developers, investors, and lenders on complex renewable energy and energy transition project financings. You will gain significant responsibility in structuring, negotiating, and executing sophisticated financing agreements within one of the fastest-growing sectors globally.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic advice to sponsors, developers, and financial institutions on renewable energy project finance transactions.

Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, tax equity investment agreements, financing agreements, and joint venture agreements.

Structure transactions to mitigate risk and optimize project financing for key stakeholders.

Collaborate with top-tier energy sector players, including private equity funds, independent power producers, utilities, and corporate power purchasers.

Requirements
